Goodbye Gossip Girl….untill

The last episode was a great question maker! It made me think a lot. I thought it was a great episode though! Sadly, the show Life UneXpected will air in Gossip Girls time slot for six weeks beginning January 18, Therefore any new episodes will not show untill  Monday, March 8. This is a disaster! I don’t know if i can wait untill March… It better be good! :) Anywhozers, here is my look on the events and characters in the last episode of season 3!

The whole Tripp Serena thing I hated! Serena hasn’t had any luck with guys latley, and Tripp just goes and messes with her head!  Wow. I was so wrong about Tripp. I thought he was the good guy. I thought Chuck was bad, but I don’t even think Chuck would have done something as messed up as Tripp. I understand if Tripp didn’t want to or wasn’t ready to get a divorce, WHO CARES! He should have thought about that before he went after Serena!! When Serena was lying unconsious after the car acident, Tripp dicided to call his WIFE?!? AND he moved her body to make it look like she was driving, and so she would get all the blame for it. He’s so messed up! When Nate punched him at the hospital i was SOOOO proud. Exept he deserves so much more then just a little punch! I think that after all this time, I would love to see Serena and Nate to get together.  The last thing I was very shocked by is Was it wolves that caused the crash?? Hmm… Wolves in New York….

Chuck has really grown up over the three seasons of Gossip Girl. He used to be the cold hearted Chuck who could never love, and what is he now? The Chuck who is loving, but scared? WOAHH thats a huge difference. I was very frustrated  when he was pushing away Blair for showing concern. She just cares about Chuck… She just loves drama too much. She needs to pick, Drama or a normal life..  I was very stumped when he was acting like he was going crazy. He talking to the ghost of his dead father, I am very concurned for him I just hope he finds what he really needs. I was so happy when he finially tried to work through all of the feelgs he was feeling. Then there was the scene at the end where Chucks mom was there, Or it could have been her. What do you think of that? Do you believe that?  Is she really alive? Maybe that’s why Bart never allowed Chuck to visit the grave – it never existed?
Jenny surprised me tonight by brushing off Eric’s plot to take her down. Is she finding her spot as the queen? Who knows if this is a good thing or not…. I was soooooooooooooooo glad that she made up with Eric.I still would have liked to see her go down. She is such a different Queen than Blair. I am also very concernced for her… Selling drugs? Where is this going to lead to?
Lastly…. The whole Lily Rufus situation…. There was that letter that Lily was hiding for Rufus. We never really got to see the whole thing, we just knew that she didn’t want Rufus to see it. But apperently… Lily visited Serena’s dad at her hotel room. This looks bad for Lily, I think Lily is not the “nice” “sweet” mom she comes off as. She hasn’t admitted to an affair yet. I’m hoping she really didn’t have cheat on Rufus! He’s so nice… :(

Such an unfair way to end the season! Can’t wait till March!

Who is Gossip Girl?

•December 14, 2009 • Leave a Comment

The question that’s always accruing in Gossip Girl is who is “gossip girl”? No one knows WHO she really is, may even be a guy. Gossip Girl is the anonymous blogger who narrates the show. She also stirs up a lot of personal information, and publishes it on her blog. Gossip Girl is known for often stirring the lives of the main characters. Her (or his who knows this could be a guy) identity remains a secret but still manages to lure readers with catty wordplay and scandalous news provided via tips through the members of the Upper East Side social network. When Gossip Girl sends out a text about someone, she uses words like “lonley boy” “s” “b” to hide the idenity of someone, but that never works out very well. Gossip Girl has avoided discovery twice when her blog was the subject of getting shut down during Dan’s incident with Miss Carr and when Serena attempted to confront her personally but failed. Gossip Girl has minions that also text her telling her about certain events that go on.  Her minions are spread around the whole upper east side. Anyone can text gossip girl a picture of the latest things going on around school and town or just gossip about someone they don’t like, and want make up rumors about them. Gossip Girl has the phone number of mostly every teen in the upper east side, and when there is a rumor someone wants to get around Gossip Girl sends a text to everyone and then everything goes haywire. Most of the rumors Gossip Girl sends around is not true, and doesn’t benifit anyone but the person who sent it in to Gossip Girl. Gossip girl will go into anyones life, dig out the most personal stuff, and post it on her blog or send it around. The things that are sent around are not only things about the teens, but they will go as far as digging into there family history and destroys family relationships as well. There are so many relationships, and frienships broken up because of the rumors Gossip Girl starts, it makes me think if Gossip Girl cares about what she does, and the people she affects.

The identity of Gossip Girl is unknown. People believe it is someone that is the same age of the people being gossiped about. No one really wants to know who Gossip Girl is, since she has caused so much drama that she probaly wouldn’t be accepted or liked by anyone. Even though no one wants to know, there is always a question “who is gossip girl?” Gossip Girl plays a vital role in almost every eppisode. I mean, the show is called Gossip Girl. There would be no show with out the role of this gossip making machine. There has been times, like after graduation where gossip girl said she was going to tell the world who she really was but in the end said she was going to follow them to collage. As much as everyones life gets alittle shaken up, there really would be no show with out Gossip Girl. Who knows, maybe someday we will find out who the real Gossip Girl is. :)

5 things to know when your watching gossip girl

When watching gossip girl, there are probably some things you have been noticing that are notoriously showing up that might confuse you, or annoy you. There are some main people that if you are a new gossip girl watcher you should probably know about Here are somethings that I have noticed show up a lot, and bug me sometimes as well.

Blair brings drama everywhere she goes. It’s like that story, where everything the boy touches turns to chocolate, well everything Blair touches turns to drama. If something happens that Blair does not approve of, or something embeareses her, she will do everything to mess up that person who did the bad thing. When Blair gets mad and annoyed that something is not going her way, she will do everything to make sure that person’s life is living HELL! Sometimes i think that she over does things, scratch that she always over does things she is the real definition of a drama queen. I guess you can say where ever Blair goes trouble follows, do you agree? It is no party until Blair shows up to stir things up a bit.

Chuck is mean. Okay that sounds lame.. but really he has this nice sensitive side but he never shows it. He puts on the “bad boy” look, plays girls, and breaks many hearts. There is this nice side of him that comes out every once n awhile, but the moment he shows the nice sensitive Chuck before you know it he returns to the mean, cheater. I guess you see the mean chuck more in the first and second season, because then he begins to open up more to Blair, but he is still that mean chuck at times.

Serena has a tendency to disappear a lot. The first season begins with her coming back from some mysterious place and then within the next couple of seasons she always will disappear for a summer, or for a weekend and no one will know where she is. Sometimes you don’t even notice when Serena disappears it just doesnt cross your mind, but then when she isn’t at school or at a family dinner, you do start to notice where is Serena? When Serena reappears she wont tell anyone where she has been. It just seems wierd, and who knows why this is, maybe we will find out.

There are a lot of breakups and on and off relationships. You will notice one you watch about two episodes that there are a lot of on and off relationships with in the show. Sometimes it gets a bit confusing to keep track of it as well. The relationships are the same people switching who they are dating over and over again. Which just makes a lot more drama, this is definitely a drama filled show so if you do not like drama this is not a show for you at all! Many rumors going around, gossip girl, almost never can be alone.  There is this person, who has everyone’s cell phone number and anyone can text gossip girl and have them spread rumors about any person. This happens every single day, anywhere, to anyone. This gets pretty annoying at times, i mean its funny too but it gets repeated so many times and you get sorta like… okay this is cool moving on now..

Domino Affect

Gossip Girl has only been around for two years but has been a big hit! If you don’t know what Gossip Girl is, Gossip Girl is a an American drama television series based on the book series “Gossip Girl”  Cecily von Ziegesar. The series begins with the return of Serena van der Woodsen, from a mysterious stay at a boarding school in Connecticut. This was a very odd way to start the sires in my opinion, because you have no clue why she left in the first place. Blair Waldorf  who creates unneeded drama, can be described as always wanting to be the queen of everything. She always wants to get her way, and usually does. Blair  is a longtime friend and occasional rival of Serena’s. She is the Queen Bee of Manhattan’s social scene and can make anyones left hell with just one Text to “Gossip Girl”. Gossip Girl is a girl who you never know who she really is, she has a website where she blogs about peoples very personal stories, relationships, and even families. Gossip Girl also mysteriously has everyone’s cell phone number as well which i find quite funny. The story also follows Chuck Bass, the  bad boy of the Upper East Side and boyfriend of Blair Waldorf, Nate Archibald, Chuck’s best friend, and certain outsiders who become part of the turbulent Manhattan scene: Dan Humphrey , Nate’s friend and Serena’s on-again, off-again ex; Vanessa Abrams, Dan’s best friend; and Dan’s sister Jenny. The story I would have to say is a very confusing and sometimes hard to fallow at times. There are many breakups, and ending of friendships through the course of each episode. The characters are also spending there nights at bars and clubs when they are supposedly in high school, they are out partying and drinking on school nights which is not the best example of how teenagers should be acting.

Gossip Girl has been around since September of 2007 and has been changing throughout the 2 years it has been on air. Each episode has different drama arising each second. The drama isn’t too confusing, or different from the drama we experience at school. People just take it too far in Gossip Girl, as an example I swear Blair always wants something bad to go wrong, The time she wanted to speak at this dinner so she went out of her way to make sure Olivia and Vanessa didn’t get to have a speech. When Blair did this, it turned out Vanessa was offered to do the speech and accepted it, but then turned it down when Blair told her some shit so she would give up the speech. After this happened Olivia (whose famous, in many movies) was offered the chance to speak, who was getting taken to the dinner by her boy friend Dan, Vanessa told Olivia that Dan’s parents (who were going to be at the dance that night) didn’t want to meet her. I’m just going to stop there, as you can see when Blair wants to get her way she tends to make everything around her fall down, like the domino affect.

Welcome!

Hello! Welcome to my blog where i will blog about Gossip Girl, and the characters on the show as well. I am currently a sophomore in High School and i focus more on my social life then my academics. I don’t have any sports that I am very interested in, although I might start lacross in the Spring. I don’t really enjoy school that much, if i had a choice i would much rather be hanging out with my friends then learning things that i probaly will never need in the future. If i had to pick a favorite subject it would have to be Math, and no i am not one of those math geeks that uses hard math vocabulary in each sentence i write, Math is just very easy for me it always has been. But I still believe i will never use algebra in the future, but that is just what i think. I am just an “average teenage girl” I text non stop, I procrastinate so much that it seems like human nature to me, I spend time with my friends 24/7, fight with my parents, and I just love to have fun and listin to music. I’m usually one of those girls who try to find the furthest seat away from the teacher while in class and avoid whats going on in class which doesn’t always benifit me.  Most of my teachers have gotten used to my choice of seating and now they tend to seat me right up front so they can always keep an eye on me. Lucky me! Anyways back to the point of this blog, I love Gossip Girl! I have been watching Gossip Girl since 8th grade i think, right when it first started i’m pretty sure. I am an active Gossip Girl watcher, but i sometimes get annoyed with the choices the characters make within episodes. For example when any relationship ends when you know they could have stayed together, or when Blair makes creates unneeded drama, ect. I can’t stand watching this sometimes, except if there were no drama, or ending relationships there would be no Gossip Girl. When a character makes a unneeded mistake, i tend to try to yell or convince them that this isn’t what they wanted to do as if they could hear me. I’m one of those people who can’t stand to just sit and watch while they make these choices. That is why i have decided to make a blog where I can talk about the drama that goes on in Gossip Girl, the choices the characters make, and i will also add my opinion of these choices and drama (i.e if i think its unneeded, reasonably)  I hope I will be able to update this blog almost after every episode but I in high school, so i have to deal with a lot of homework as well! I invite you to come and check up on my blog every once in a while to see if  I have added anything new. Enjoy! :)
